Bidding Information

The online bidding platform being used for this event is called GiveSmart. The system requires users to enter their name, email, mobile phone number, and credit card information in order to place bids on a piece. Your credit card will only be charged if you end up as the winning bidder.

If you do not attend the event, or if you leave the art show before the auction closes and you win a piece, you will receive a text notification from the auction site. Simply arrange for alternate pick up of your piece by contacting OE Events Coordinator, Amy Wulf, at (219) 464-9621 ext. 333 or via email at amy.wulf@oppent.org.

Preferred payment method is credit or debit via the auction site. However, we will also accept cash or check at the event or at the time of artwork pick up.

What if I want to attend ARTability and bid on artwork, but I don't have a smartphone to access the bidding site?

GiveSmart staff members will be in attendance during the event and can place a bid on your behalf.
