Planned Giving at OE
The Rose Society

The names will change. So will the faces. New challenges will certainly arise. But the work - the commitment, ideas and care, and the people who put them to work - will continue.

And you can be a part of it long after you're gone. By including Opportunity Enterprises in your will or estate plan, you have the ability to support our good work. In addition, you and your heirs may actually reap immediate and long term benefits by planning today.

Create a legacy of caring. Remember OE. The concept is simple, yet it has the power to profoundly change people's lives forever. Including yours...

What Is The Rose Society?
A common theme defines the newsletters and brochures regarding the Rose Society. Our symbol, a beautiful rosebud, exemplifies the beauty of our clients and the promise of tomorrow and the future of O.E.

Thus, the Rose Society was established to recognize those who believe both in our clients and the future of O.E. Donors may include O.E. in their gift planning through their wills, insurance, trusts, real estate, etc.

To utilize any of these donation options, please request a newsletter and fill out the included form.  Return this form to O.E. in the enclosed envelope.  We would especially appreciate your permission to include you in the Rose Society.

For more information on The Rose Society, the endowment, or any of your gift giving needs, please contact:

Bequests
This option allows donors to easily support O.E. or other favorite charities. Specific bequests in either a will or testamentary trust are exempt from estate tax.

Insurance
Donate an insurance policy that is no longer needed or perhaps buy a new policy, making O.E. and/or other charities the beneficiary.

Endowment Gift
By contributing to the endowment, donors are investing in the future of O.E.

Charitable Gift Annuity
This simple donation may be made with appreciated securities or cash and has three main benefits.  The donor receives income for life, as well as an immediate tax deduction.  Also, a portion of this income is tax free.  Interest rates far exceed any on the current market.

Appreciated Securities
These are attractive gifts for long held stocks or bonds, especially when the appreciation is so great that the capital gains tax would take a significant portion of the proceeds.

Retirement Plan Assets (IRA, etc.)
Donors with a traditional IRA, 401k or 403b can make a bequest of it in a will to any favorite charity or make it the beneficiary of part or all of the remaining funds. The tax advantages of donating an IRA through a bequest allow even greater generosity, and the tax savings often allow donors to leave an even larger legacy for their heirs.

Charitable Remainder Trust
With this option, donors receive an immediate tax deduction for a charitable gift.  They also avoid future estate taxes, as the assets are removed from your estate.  Also, donors may name themselves or another individual to receive a lifetime of income from your gift. Interest rates can be fixed or flexible and far exceed any on the current market.

Charitable Lead Trust
This giving option places assets into a trust that will pay income to the charity for a term of years, after which the property comes back to the donor or his/her children.

Property Gifts
Donors may give a gift of property they no longer need.
