OE Receives Grant to Train Employees on CPR and AED Techniques
On November 5, 2007, Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. received four Little Anne CPR/AED Manikins and one Baby Anne CPR/AED Resusci Manikin to use in employee CPR and AED trainings. These training manikins were received as a grant from the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation and are valued at $800. The National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation is part of the National Automobile Dealers Association with headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Its membership includes over 19,000 franchised new car and truck dealers in the United States. CPR and AED training has been shown to increase the chances of survival in cardiac arrest victims, and Opportunity Enterprises trains nearly 300 staff each year in the proper life saving techniques.
