If my son or daughter does not yet have the funding through the Medicaid Waiver, how do I go about getting it?
Though the wait to receive a Medicaid Waiver can be lengthy, you can apply at any time. In order to qualify for a Medicaid Waiver, an individual must be a resident of Indiana, meet categorical eligibility requirements (aged, blind or disabled), as well as financial and non-financial requirements. For specific questions about eligibility or how to begin the application process, you may contact your local Bureau of Developmental Disabilities (BDDS) office.
