Clubs

Next Chapter Book Club

The Next Chapter Book Club is a great social and educational program for the clients at OE. The client groups work together to choose books and typically select a local coffee shop for their weekly meetings.

Best Buddies
The Best Buddies - Valparaiso University/Opportunity Enterprises chapter - is a member of the national organization of Best Buddies designed to develop friendships between college students and challenged individuals. Students and clients come together and plan activities based on their shared interests.

Self-Advocates
The Self-Advocates at Opportunity Enterprises are members of a state and nationwide organization comprised of citizens with disabilities. The OE Self-Advocates members promote equal rights, respect and dignity - for all individuals - through educational initiatives. Members attend bi-weekly chapter meetings, quarterly statewide meetings and annual national conferences.

OE Ambassadors
As an OE Ambassador, clients become an active voice and a formal representative for Opportunity Enterprises, Incorporated. Members of the OE Ambassador program act as leaders for other clients by assisting with facility tours, reviewing OE programs for development and improvements and identification of client concerns and issues.
